Kathy Barwick

Brand NEW: Plastic Canvas Halloween Patterns!

Halloween is coming up in October, so if you love this holiday as much as I do, it's time to start making your household holiday decorations right away.

Check out some of my fun and colorful new Halloween wall-hanging patterns that are available right now on my Etsy Store.

And while you're there, check out some of the other cute patterns as well. Just click the link above to view them all.

Hi, Kathy Barwick here, for www.AddictedToPlasticCanvas.com...

Franken Monkey, shown above, is one of my newest plastic canvas creations.

Your kids are sure to love it, as well as others in this Halloween series, including Hanging Around With Franken Monkey (see right) and Franken Monkey With Pumpkin (see below).

I also have the Bat Moon wall hanging (see below), and the Two Pumpkins wall hanging (see further below) to round out this fun-filled Halloween series.

They're not only colorful and fun, but they're a real blast to make.

These are all done on 7 count artist size sheets of plastic canvas. That means they're very large, roughly about 13"x 20" - just right for turning your home into a fun and spooktacular Halloween haunt!

And while you're visiting my Etsy Store to view these Halloween wall hangings...

...you might also want to check out my just-released cache of classic and hard-to-find Halloween patterns (and other holiday patterns, as well) available in the Commercial Holiday section of my Etsy Store.

There's everything from black cats...to skeletons...pumpkins...witches, ghosts and goblins...vampires, and more - in the form of tissue toppers, candy bowls, trick-or-treat totes, wall hangings and other fabulous Halloween decorations.

In short, my Etsy Store is the place to visit when you're looking for new patterns to stitch - whether for Halloween, or for any occasion!

And speaking of stitching, please don't miss this important announcement if you're an experienced plastic canvas stitcher.

I'm going to reveal - directly below - how you can get some of these brand new wall hanging patterns from me, absolutely FREE, just for helping me out!

I Still Need Some Help...

Are you a good stitcher?

And are you interested in getting free patterns from me in return for stitching them and sending me two digital color photos of the finished, fully-stitched project?

I'm constantly in need of experienced stitchers.

I give my stitchers one month to finish a project before they can start a new one which means I almost always have patterns that are just waiting to be stitched.

While the examples of Halloween patterns in this ezine have already been stitched, there are more wall hangings and other patterns coming up over the days, weeks and months directly ahead.

So if you're an experienced and talented plastic canvas stitcher, this could be a way for you to get one (or more) of my brand new wall hanging patterns -- absolutely FREE!

Here's the deal: I need people to stitch the pattern, and then send me two good, clear, digital color photos of the finished, fully stitched piece.

The photos are needed so I can use them on the cover of the finalized pattern, when I post the pattern to my Etsy Store, or sell it through other plastic canvas publishers like ICG or Bonanza.

You keep the finished piece, of course -- FREE -- after you stitch it! I just need the color digital photos of the finished piece, so I can use them when the pattern is finalized and published.

So this is a great way for experienced stitchers to get some of my latest and most decorative plastic canvas patterns - absolutely FREE.

Here's How It Works...

Whenever a stitcher is needed, I'll post an announcement on my
Facebook Wall.

I'll post a computer-generated image of the project that needs to be stitched, along with the list of materials needed for the project.

For example, if my upcoming Fright Night wall hanging were ready, I'd post the computer-generated image to the left on my Facebook Wall, along with the materials list and the request for a stitcher.

If you respond to my request, and are chosen (see requirements, below), I'd then email you a copy of the preliminary pattern to stitch.

It will look just like a regular plastic canvas pattern, but instead of having a photograph of the finished piece on the cover; it will have the computer generated image of the project on the cover instead.

Once you stitch the pattern, you then email me two clear, digital color photographs of the finished piece, so I can then publish the pattern online or in print with good, detailed photos.

Here Are Some of the Basic Rules:

You must be able to open a PDF file on your computer, because the preliminary pattern I'm going to send you by email wil be a PDF pattern.

You must have a color printer if you plan on printing out the pattern to work it. I will not mail any of these patterns.

You must have all materials, or be able to get them, at your own cost. No substitutes for yarn. The materials you use must be exactly the ones I specify when I post the request for a stitcher to my Facebook Wall.

If you're stitching for me, you must complete the project you're working one before you can get a new one. And you must complete your project on time, meaning within 30 days.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To apply for FREE patterns in return for stitching for me, here's what you have to do:

1.) Watch for me to post a request for a stitcher, on my Facebook Page. If you see a pattern you're interested in stitching for me, the do the following:

2.) Email me at kathybarwick@att.net. Be sure to include your name, phone number, mailing address, and a photo of any finished project you've already stitched, so I can see for myself that you're a good stitcher, and that you know how to take good, color digital photos of finished plastic canvas work.

When you email me, you must copy and paste the statement below into your email. Fill in the blanks for your name and date.

a.) I acknowledge that all pattern(s) I receive from Kathy Barwick are not to be shared or distributed, by email or posted on-line in any groups. Kathy Barwick's patterns and designs are the sole property of Kathy Barwick and are copyrighted. I understand this rule and agree to it.

b.) I understand the pattern/s Kathy sends me must be stitched using Red Heart yarn only. I agree not to use any other type of yarn, and I agree not substitute any color on the chart for another.

c.) I understand that in order to qualify I must have a good, quality, color digital camera. I understand camera phone photos will not work. The photos of the stitched piece must be high-quality, digital color images with a white background, (not photos taken on the kitchen table with 10 other items surrounding it).

d.) I further agree to provide Kathy with a total of at least 2 digital color photos of the finished, fully stitched project, as follows: I will provide at least two photo shots of the front side of the finished project, taken straight on, not at an angle. (Email the photo's to kathybarwick@att.net)

e.) I acknowledge that all pattern(s) I receive from Kathy Barwick are not to be changed in any way. ( Nothing added or deleted). They are to be worked exactly as I received them.

I further understand I'll have 30 days to email Kathy the clear digital photos of the finished, stitched piece.

Also, I consent for Kathy Barwick to use my name___________ when she writes new Ezine articles or Facebook posts, and wants to give credit to the stitcher.

Signed___________________________ Dated_____________.

2.) If you're qualified, meaning you MUST be a good, experienced stitcher, I will then send you the pattern (for free) by email.

3.) If you have to back out of stitching the project for any reason, but you want to remain a stitcher, you can opt-out by purchasing the pattern I've sent you.

4.) Any stitcher found to have shared my copyrighted patterns will be permanently disqualified from stitching or buying from me.

5.) Any stitcher who can't fulfill this agreement for any reason within the 30 day time frame given, needs to contract me and let me know the reason for breaking this agreement. If you fail to contact me within the 30 days you will be permanently disqualified from stitching or buying from me.

6.) ADDED BONUS! When you're finished stitching the pattern, and have sent me the required color photos you'll then quality for the added bonus.

This means you get to go to my Etsy store and pick any PDF pattern from the section called Kathy Barwick Patterns, for $7.00 or under, for FREE and I'll email it to you.

This is a bonus pattern you get. There are no strings attached. You don't have to stitch this bonus pattern for me. It's yours to keep just for completing the original stitching project for me, and sending the color photos on time.

In Conclusion...

So if you want FREE patterns in return for stitching and taking digital color photos of the finished piece for me, just follow the instructions above.

The main thing is that you need to be an experienced stitcher who knows how to cover all the plastic, and whose stitches are very crisp and clean-looking.

If you fit the bill, and you want FREE patterns in exchange for stitching and sending the required photographs, then visit my Facebook Page often to see my latest requests for stitchers.

Meanwhile, please visit my Etsy Store where you'll be able to browse through hundreds and hundreds of beautiful plastic canvas patterns, including some of my own orignal creations, plus new patterns from some of the most talented new plastic canvas designers around, and much more!

Best regards, and Happy stichin'!
